A lovely Georgian Red Walnut 8 day Grandfather Clock in very good condition, by "John Robinson of Chesterfield", dating to around 1835, and in full working order. The case in fine Red Walnut, the long shaped case door with moulded edge, original Brass hinges, with original lock but no key, and flanked by quarter reeded columns at each side with bold Brass Capitals. The base section with central panel of raised moulding, and the clock stands on the original turned "Bun" feet below a double plinth plinth, at 89 inches in total height to the top of the central finial.
